ABOUT CHRISSY’S

Both of my businesses are dedicated to spreading kindness and positivity, while Chrissy’s is especially centered around bringing comfort through the changes life brings. Whether those changes are exciting new beginnings or difficult seasons, I hope these sweet treats can bring a little comfort along the way.

I started Chrissy’s during a difficult time in my life while trying to save money for the last semester of my bachelor’s degree. At the time, I had no idea that life would eventually lead me toward pursuing my Master’s in Bilingual Education. Through all the unexpected turns, Chrissy’s became something so much bigger than I ever imagined. It became a reminder that even during seasons of change, beautiful things can still grow.

Who is Chrissy?

Chrissy is our business mascot! I actually hand drew her myself for By Ashley Janet long before the idea of Chrissy’s even existed. Her name was already “Chrissy” from the very beginning, but at the time I never imagined I would one day build an entire business inspired by her.

Why did you name her Chrissy?

Her name comes from the word chrysalis, which symbolizes transformation, growth, and becoming. Looking back now, it feels so fitting because Chrissy’s was created during a season of change in my life and slowly grew into something so meaningful to me.

To me, Chrissy represents comfort through change and serves as a reminder that even during difficult seasons, beautiful things can still grow.

Why cookie cups?

I’ve always enjoyed being creative and I’ve always had a love for sweets, so cookie cups felt like the perfect way to combine both! I love being able to create different flavors through fillings, toppings, textures, and fun combinations while hopefully bringing a little comfort and sweetness to others along the way!
